The memory of Arletta Gaskins of Chillicothe, Illinois, who passed away on January 16, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Carroll and Martha Carroll (Riechman); her husband David Gaskins; her son Charles; her son-in-law Randy Goodwin; her siblings, George Carroll and Luella McKinney; her granddaughter Bess; and her great great grandchild Ravina.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Goodwin of Peoria, IL, Don Gaskins (Teresa) of Jacksonville, FL and Fred Gaskins (Lori) of Chillicothe, IL; her grandchildren, Brian Hurt (Jessica), Ashley Zborowski (Eric), Amber Maronde (Jerry), Kaely Rath (Joe), Lindsay Bjerke (Nate) and Kelsey Gramby (Austin); her great grandchildren, Bodhi, Emma, Owen, Alyse, Grayson, Jackson, Hudson, Cohen, Oliver, Alec, Tessa and Colten; her stepgrandchildren, Emma and Daniel; and her great great grandchildren, Zaigan and Casey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chillicothe Christian Church (510 W Frances St, Chillicothe, IL 61523).
Memorials in her name may be made to Chillicothe Christian Church or the Disabled American Veterans.
