She is survived by: her husband Gilbert "Zul" Clare; her daughters, Kishea Vanessa Clare-Strong and Jamillah Isha Clare; her grandchildren, Julian Alfonso Godinez, Hailey Alexis Clare, Zari Anishea Strong and Kofi Saeed Strong; and her siblings, Hanifa Reneau (Eleanor), Alexander Reneau, Karl Reneau, Josephine Reneau-Ellwood and Juliet Reneau-Burner. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
