Though William may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William John Linklater and Jean Connell Linklater of LaGrange. He is survived by: his wife Dorothea D. Linklater; his sister Margaret Van Dagens; his daughters, Erin Linklater Palumbo (Michael) and Emily Linklater Thomas (Luke); and his granddaughter Myla Linklater Thomas.
A Mass will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 7:00 AM at the Holy Name Cathedral (735 N State St, Chicago, IL 60654). Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A requiem service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at 233 N Canal St, Chicago, IL 60606.
