He was predeceased by: his daughter Julianne; his siblings, Sylvia Myers (late Donald) and Sidney (Carol); and his parents, Rushton and Geraldine.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, William E. Jr., Valerie Drobitsch (William), Joseph and P. D. (Sandra); his grandchildren, Angela, William, Ellen, Nathan, Madelyn, Leena, Zachary, Seth, Corbin and Jillian; and his great grandchildren, Edward, Theo, Rosalie, Charlotte, Winifred, Marigold and Josephine.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 6:00 AM and on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Barbara Church (2859 S Throop St, Chicago, IL 60608). A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (7201 S Archer Ave, Bedford Park, IL 60501).
