In loving memory of William A. Cerny Sr. of Chicago, Illinois, who departed this world on December 26, 2024 at the age of 91. William leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Cerny and Ella Cerny; and his wife Theresa H. Cerny. He is survived by: his children, William A. Cerny, Jr. (Patty), Katherine Michaels (Patrick), Mary Beth Stillmaker (Ronald), Lisa Clark (Daniel) and Julie Marubio (Dave); and his friend Halloween. He is also survived by four siblings.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Muzyka & Son Funeral Home (5776 W Lawrence Ave, Chicago, IL 60630). A wake will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Ladislaus Catholic Church (5345 W Roscoe St, Chicago, IL 60641).
