He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lida; his sibling Dr. Geroge Truchly of New York; his brothers-in-law, Walter Terkun (Helen) and Victor Terkun (Bonnie); and also Ivan Truchly. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral (300 Army Trail Rd, Bloomingdale, IL 60108). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Church (300 Army Trail Rd, Bloomingdale, IL 60108).
