With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Valerie Ann Borders of Chicago, Illinois, born in Pueblo, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 16, 2024 at the age of 62. She was predeceased by: her father Charles Borders; and her sister Sharon Simpson. She is survived by: her children, Alicia Lopez (Tony), Jesse Arredondo (Valeria), Brenda Phillips (Gabe), Robert Arredondo and Andrew Arredondo; her pet Bruno; her sister Theresa Borders (John Agnew); her grandchildren, Alyssa, Alexis, Aaron Lopez, Aiden and Ayla Arredondo; and also Bruno. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren, and fishing with her son-in-law.
