Though Valentina may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Valentina touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her spouse Grigory Propishan; her parents, Leiser Tarasul and Polina Tarasul (Niguliner); and her siblings, Genrikh Tarasul and Damira Mirochnik (Grigory).
She is survived by: her daughter Elena Gilerman; her grandsons, Eugene Gilerman (Larisa Gerber) and Steven Gilverman; and her great grandchildren, Rianna, Juliana, Nicole and Alex.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Star of David Cemetery (5736 N Pulaski Rd, Chicago, IL 60646).
