He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn. He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Bialek (Michael) and Ted Mayer (Linda); and his granddaughters, Kate, Krista Schmidt (Cory) and Jennifer Lawlor (Mark).

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Foran Funeral Home - Summit (7300 W Archer Ave, Summit, IL 60501). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
