She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Lena "Honee" (Popiel) and Joseph Bonnell Melnick; and her uncle Julian "Dooley" Popiel. She is survived by: her aunt Doris Baker Popiel; her cousins, Harriet Popiel Powers, Molly Popiel Lindahl, Jon Popiel, Patricia Popiel Lehosky, Joseph Popiel, Daniel Popiel and Heidi Popiel Worthington; and also, Abigail Wirtel and Nurse MaryAnn Pehar.
