She was predeceased by: her husband Sherman; her son Jeffrey Neuman; her parents, Goodwin Kaplan and Frieda Kaplan; and her brother Miles Kaplan.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Vittenson (Richard), Doreen Edelman (Robert) and James Neuman (Marla); her grandchildren, Jessica McGahan (Brian), Michael Vittenson, Gregory Edelman, Andrew Edelman, Heather Farnsworth (Daniel), Ross Neuman (Meredith), Emily Hoffman (Kevin) and Cole Neuman (Alyssa); her great grandchildren, Aedan, Isla, Ethan, Shane, Bryce, Henry, Paige, Graham, Adina, Sofia, Holden and Maeve; and her sibling-in-law Idajean Kaplan (Irv Schwartz). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Shalom Chapel Service Shalom Memorial Funeral Home (1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
