With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roza K. Hersher of Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Roza farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Roza is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Richard Hersher; her child Vlad Altmark (Irina); her grandchildren, Gabby and Jeffrey Altmark; her parents, Leyb Khazin and Esfir Khazin; and her stepchildren, Erin Hersher and Laura Akins.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Shalom Chapel Service Shalom Memorial Funeral Home (1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
