She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Zamora and Micaela Zamora; her husband Agustin Ortega; and her son Jesus. She is survived by: her children, Maria, Rita, Lucy, Tino and Gerardo.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Foran Funeral Home - Summit (7300 W Archer Ave, Summit, IL 60501). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 10:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:45 AM at the St. Daniel the Prophet Church (5358 S Nashville Ave, Chicago, IL 60638).
