He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert James Barker Sr. and Joyce Elaine Barker (Handley); his siblings, Niya Cross (Barker), Vichelle Frazier, Dorothy Teague (Vaughan), James Vaughan, Jonathan Vaughan and Rosemary Christy (Handley); his former wife Nikki Shoemaker; his daughters, Crystal and Laura Handley (Tobias); his wife Shelley Waddle; his stepdaughter Maria Storm Handley; and his grandchildren, Christopher Stalder, Annabelle Bower and Evinrude Smith.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Calvary Open Bible Church (710 N Court St, Ottumwa, IA 52501).
