He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Hartnett (Jayne Erlenbaugh) and Faye Hartnett; his brother Chuck Erlenbaugh; his granddaughter Emily Nelson; and his sisters-in-law, Murph Hartnett and Joan Raan.
He is survived by: his wife Madge (Hartnett); his children, Jamie Vanecko (Bob), Marijo Talaga (John), Bob Erlenbaugh (Kristin) and Maggie Nelson (Mike); his siblings-in-law, Dan Hartnett SJ and Kathy Erlenbaugh; and his nieces and nephews, JD, Matt, Dan Erlenbaugh, Patt Cheney and Rick Rann.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Angel Guardian Croatian Catholic Church (6346 N Ridge Ave, Chicago, IL 60660).
