Richard Godfrey Obituary
The passing of Richard Godfrey (Chicago, Illinois) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 11, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Karol Powell, LeeAnn Ulman (Zel), JoAnn Godfrey and Vickie Godfrey Apostolos (George); his wife Mary Jean Fialko; his grandchildren, Law and Retail; his close friend Richard Buchanan; and his parents, William J. Godfrey and Vera Craft Godfrey. He was also cherished by four daughters, 12 grandchildren, daughters and 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holy Name Cathedral (735 N State St, Chicago, IL 60654). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Watch Video Holy Name Cathedral (735 N State St, Chicago, IL 60654).
