He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth S. and Suzanne T. Purtell; and his nieces and nephews, Patricia Harper (Jack), John (Julie), Martin, Thomas Purtell (Jocelyn), Kathleen LaMere (Mark), Sarah Nestos (Peter) and Annie Purtell.
