He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Rendone and Helen Rendone; his wife Rosemary; his son Tim; his son-in-law Len O'Connell; and his sister Josephine.
He is survived by: his children, Nicholas Rendone (Laura), Cathy O'Connell, Sue Pickett (Chip) and Mary Beth Anderson (Damon); his grandchildren, Lisa Spyrnal (George), Nicole Rendone, Olivia Miller (Kevin), Caitlin Stubbs (Jake), Courtney Gaona (Julio), Melissa Pickett (Caroline), Madison Pickett, Max and Caroline Anderson; and his great grandchildren, Lilyana, Geo, Reese, William Spyrnal, Warren, Philip Miller, Zoe Stubbs, Julian, Felix and Gael Gaona.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Theis-Gorski Funeral Home and Cremation Service (3517 N Pulaski Rd, Chicago, IL 60641). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Viator & Wenceslaus Church (4170 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60641). A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St Adalbert Catholic Cemetery (6800 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association or the Lyric Opera of Chicago would be greatly appreciated.
