It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Freund (Chicago, Illinois), who passed away on March 6, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his spouse Lucy; his children, Pauline Freund (John Smither) and Caroline Freund (Simeon Djankov); his grandchildren, Madeleine Smither, Raphael Smither, Charlotte Smither, Andrei Freund and Marko Freund; and also MacAlpine.
