She was predeceased by: her husband John E. Hartnett; her sons, Daniel Hartnett and Matthew Fitzgerald (Amy); and her sibling Thomas Staed (Barbara). She is survived by: her children, Margaret "Peggy" Valavanis (Theodore), Laura Fitzgerald Miller (Mark) and Christopher Fitzgerald; her grandchildren, Megan, Daniel (Beth Ann), Catherine Valavanis, Michael (Alicia), Shannon Miller, Olivia and Robert Fitzgerald; and her great grandchildren, Justin, Zoe, Owen and Emilia.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Woods Church (6955 N Hiawatha Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
