He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Doris; his children, Beth Shaffer (Bruce), Aaron Kamins (Julie Ann Sklaver), Paula Gross (Alan) and David Kamins (Jacqueline Gordon); his grandchildren, Ian Shaffer (Alice), Madeline Shifrin (Jerry), Jonah, Ally, Isaac Gross, Noah Shaffer, Reece Kamins, Ryder, Hudson and Eli Kamins; his great grandchildren, Lou, Levi, Simon and Grady; his sister Roberta Freed (Robert); his siblings-in-law, Larry Cohen (Merle), Alan Cohen (late Idalee) and Audree Lasser; and his caregivers, Anita and John.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Shalom Chapel Service Shalom Memorial Funeral Home (1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
