She was predeceased by: her husband Peter; her granddaughter Grace; her parents, Evelyn Korten and Richard Korten; and her siblings, Carol, Kathleen and Lyn.
She is survived by: her children, Sara Murphy (Terry), Andy (Julie), Jeanne Thomas (Ed) and Tim (Jennifer); and her grandchildren, Claire, Tom, Jack, Will, Anna, Bo, Abby, Mia and Miranda.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Homes of Chicago (6250 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A prayer was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Juliana Church (7201 N Oketo Ave, Chicago, IL 60631).
