It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Howard (Chicago, Illinois), who passed away on December 29, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Melvin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Melvin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Higgins Family Funeral Home (244 E 138th St, Chicago, IL 60827). A wake was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
