With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Roberta DiLeonardi (Chicago, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 20, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Mary Roberta's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Mary Roberta has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Arthur DiLeonardi; her child Jowana Cutinello (Richard); her grandchildren, Luca and Gianna Cutinello; her parents, Robert Gambino and Virginia Gambino; and her sibling Ginni Hogan (Bill).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home (185 E Northwest Hwy, Palatine, IL 60067). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church (434 W Park St, Arlington Heights, IL 60005).
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org), Shriners Children's Hospital, Operation Smile, or JourneyCare Hospice are appreciated.
