She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Bernard Katz and Lucile Katz. She is survived by: her husband Marc Perper; her daughters, Laurel Perper (Nick Gallagher) and Stephanie Perper; her brother Dr. Richard Katz (Martha Lessman); and her sister-in-law Monica Bauman.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Anshe Emet Synagogue (3751 N Broadway, Chicago, IL 60613). A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:15 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (9900 Gross Point Rd, Skokie, IL 60076).
