She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ricardo; and her children, Maria Murillo (Manuel), Irma, Martha Abarca (Angel), Olga Salas (Francisco), Alma Lamas (Carlos) and Francisco J. Rueda. She was also cherished by many family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Church (6020 W Ardmore Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
