As we bid Mabel Sassoon farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mabel Sassoon is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Benzion Moses; her son Isaac Moses (Dipa Valambhia); and her parent Erusha "Ba" Benjamin Ashtamker. She is survived by: her daughter Myra Wilkins (Robert); and her grandchild Jevan Wilkins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Shalom Chapel Service Shalom Memorial Funeral Home (1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
