He was predeceased by: his daughter Mary; and his siblings, George (late Alice), Duckie (late Greg Opelka), William (late Cookie) and Frank (Ann).
He is survived by: his significant other Barbara J. Urban; his children, Daniel F. (Mary Jean), Timothy G. (Margaret), Michael C. (Brigit), Sean P. (Jennifer), Thomas K. (Michele), Nora D. Olsson (Eric), Kevin, Marie, Molly and Matthew; his grandchildren, Kevin, Brendan Briody, Molly Cavalieri (Angelo), Michael, Cailin, Patrick, Megan Briody, Seamus, Aidan, Maeve Briody, Samantha Briody, Katherine and Liam Olsson; his family Beverly; and also Caesar. He is also survived by his loving family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home (6150 N Cicero Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Queen of All Saints Basilica (6280 N Sauganash Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Adalbert Cemetery (6800 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
