In the sacred silence of farewell, Lorna is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Marvin; her children, Ronald Jacobson (Patricia), David Jacobson, Elisa Cain (Mark) and Michael Jacobson (Jennifer); her stepsons, Steven Schufeldt (Cindy) and Gary Schufeldt (Lori); and her brother Dr. Jeffrey Galpin (Carrie). She was also cherished by 17 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Shalom Chapel Service Shalom Memorial Funeral Home (1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
