With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lorie Rose Gorny of Chicago, Illinois, born in Harvey, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 20, 2024 at the age of 101. She was predeceased by : her parents, Michael Dudeck and Anna Dudeck; and her son Robert A. Gorny. She is survived by : her siblings, Gertrude, Lucille Kurello, Leonard and Michael Dudeck; her husband Robert L. Gorny; her sons, James Gorny and Richard Gorny (Diane); her grandchildren, James Gorny (Stefanie) and Lynn Gorny; and her great grandchildren, Jaxon Gorny-Lane and Andrew Gorny. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A prayer was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oehler Funeral Home (2099 Miner St, Des Plaines, IL 60016). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
