Kevin P. Cooney Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2024, at the age of 67, Kevin P. Cooney (Chicago, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Kevin has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Cooney and Florence Cooney; and his brothers, Tom and Michael Cooney. He is survived by: his wife Julie; and his siblings, Terrence Cooney (Joan), Gregory Cooney (Solveig) and Peggy Cooney. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Wayside Church (434 W Park St, Arlington Heights, IL 60005).
