With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of June C Sliter of Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 31, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Warren; her son Jeff Van Bush; and her siblings, Alfred (late Evelyn), Lucille Graves, Mary Lou Corcoran and Thomas Dougherty.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Sue Flynn (David), Kathleen Haggart (Richard) and Jim Van Bush (Mary Kay); her grandchildren, David Flynn (Amanda), Lauren Flynn, Robert Haggart (Kim) and Richard Haggart; and her great grandchild Madison Haggart.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beverly Ridge Funeral Home (10415 S Kedzie Ave, Chicago, IL 60655). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Christina Church (11100 S Christiana Ave, Chicago, IL 60655).
