Juana Urbina Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2025, at the age of 90, Juana Urbina of Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Juana may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Hugo; her mother Carlota Gonzales Limon; and her brothers, Martin Flores and Jose Guadalupe Macias. She is survived by: her daughters, Sonia Urbina (Hector Medina) and Victoria Urbina; her grandchildren, Daniel Medina and Sarah Medina; and her sister Gloria Fuentes Garcia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grove Memorial Chapel (1199 S Arlington Heights Rd, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007). Viewing was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 9:15 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Claire of Assisi Parish (700 S Meier Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A graveside service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 1:15 PM and from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
