He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Ruiz and Cruz Ruiz. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ruiz; his children, Juan "Junior" Ruiz (Marcia), Lucas Ruiz, Naomi Ruiz (Jess Sonheim), Joel Ruiz, Samantha Ruiz and Jesus Ruiz; his grandchildren, Justin Ruiz, Tyler Ruiz (Marissa Soto), Alexis Ruiz, Christian Ruiz (Brenda), Mia Ruiz, Anthony Ruiz, Ariel Alonzo, Patience Alonzo, Jonathan Ruiz, Julian Ruiz, Cameron Ruiz, Amina Sonheim, Arrianna Ruiz and Lucas Ruiz Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Julian Rhone, DaLilah Ruiz, Autumn Ruiz and Elias "Gumba" Ruiz.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McInerney Central Chapel (4635 S Wallace St, Chicago, IL 60609). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
