He is survived by: his son Paul; his wife Joan Street Smith; his son Brian Smith; his mother Josefina Hipólito Salazar; his sister Lilia Angelica Salazar; his nieces and nephews, Andrea Casillas, Carolina Smith, Claudia Smith, Jorge Smith and Alberto Casillas; his brother John; and his sister-in-law Mary Street (Trepanier).
