It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jozefa Kopec (Chicago, Illinois), who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Jan Kopec; her children, Andrzej (Aneta), Piotr (Jolanta) and Barbara Cislo (Robert); her grandchildren, Arthur Kopec (Jessica), Lukasz Kopec, Katherine Kopec, Anna Kopec, Gianna Cislo, Robert Jr. Cislo and Philip Kopec; and her siblings, Stanley (Elzbieta), John (Mary), Frank (Mary), Ziggy (Halina), Peter (Stella), Adam (Sofia), Casey Kowalczyk (Joanne) and Anna Janczy (Stanislaw). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM at the Zarzycki Manor Chapels, Ltd. - Chicago (5088 S Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60632-4546). A prayer was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bruno Church (4751 S Harding Ave, Chicago, IL 60632-3628). A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (7201 Archer Ave, Justice, IL 60458).
