We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2025, Joyce Hefter of Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvia Turofsky and Joseph Turofsky; and her sister-in-law Joanne Myers (late Bob). She is survived by: her husband Mark; her children, Julie Salamone (Daryl) and Sean Hefter (Lori); her grandchildren, Spencer Salamone, Gianna Salamone and Reese Hefter; her brother Melvin Turofsky (Marla); and her sister-in-law Terri Schwartz (late Jay).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Shalom Chapel Service Shalom Memorial Funeral Home (1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (http://www.stjude.org) or to a cancer research charity of your choice.
