Joyce B. Black Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce B. Black (Chicago, Illinois), who passed away on February 28, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister Joan Piazza (late Anthony); her nephew Robert Piazza; and her parents, John Blasovich and Josephine Blasovich. She is survived by: her husband Melvin; her children, Stephen Black (Courtenay), Heather Gregg (Todd) and Alissa DeLaine (Jameka); her grandchildren, Jonah, Talia Black, Zachery, Maya, Hadley Gregg and Jax DeLaine; her nieces, Frances Kahler and Alison; and her nephew Nick Busken.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Barnabas Church (10134 S Longwood Dr, Chicago, IL 60643). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
