He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Charlotte Nienaltowski (Giunti); his daughter Erica Madden (Nienaltowski); his son-in-law Mike Madden; his granddaughter Erin Mary Madden; his sister Rita Liguzinski (Nienaltowski); his parents, Bernard Nienaltowski and Mary Nienaltowski; and his sister Diane Nienaltowski.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holy Name Cathedral (735 N State St, Chicago, IL 60654). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Watch Video Holy Name Cathedral (735 N State St, Chicago, IL 60654).
