He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Reiner and Catherine Reiner (Demes); his wife Carol Schultz; his sisters, Donna Pomerich and Carol Barnett; and his parents-in-law, Don Genthner, Bill Pomerich, Ron Barnett, Bruce, Janice Johnson, Roberta, Jim Adler, Larry Schultz, Linda Schultz, Harvey Schultz, Carol Schultz, Peggy Schultz and Paul Richardt.
He is survived by: his children, Laura (Art), Lisa (Ryan), Jennifer (Rob), Joseph (Dianna) and Curtis (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Nick, Jeff, Samantha, Luke, Avin, Bryan, Amya, Logan, Ayla, Abigail, Joey, Alyn, Kayla and Evelyn; his siblings, Kitty Genthner, Margie Tomany, Robert Reiner (Mary) and Ron Reiner (Linda); and his siblings-in-law, Rosella Richardt, Judith Hintz (Larry), Patricia Kehrer (Tim), Ron Schultz, Robert Schultz (Elaine), Jerald Schultz and Ken Schultz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
