He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Alejandrina; his children, Jose Chavez Jr. and Guadalupe Chavez; and his siblings, Manuel, Pablo, Maria, Sabina, Juanita and Clemencia Chavez. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Zarzycki Manor Chapels, Ltd. - Chicago (5088 S Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60632-4546). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the St. Casimir Cemetery (4401 W 111th St, Chicago, IL 60655).
