He was predeceased by: his father John F. Martin; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Fencl (Robert), Barbara Catapano (Milton), Rosanna, Dolora and Joan.
He is survived by: his significant other Kathleen (Majewski); his children, Lisa Martin, Mary Henningsen (Steven), Nancy Hull (Donald), Joan Murrin (Timothy) and John Martin (Anna); his grandchildren, Daniel Martin (Victoria), Sean Simons (Lisa), Marina Martin, Kailey Bocanegra (Andrew), DJ Hull (Carly), Joseph Hull (Celina), Kyra Burke, Matthew Martin and Giuliana Martin; his great grandchildren, Hailey Simons, JoJo Hull, Sawyer Hull, Austin Simons and Aubrey Hull; his siblings-in-law, William Majewski, Agnes Kluck and Leo Majewski (Janis); and his grandson Danny.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home (7812 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714). A prayer was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Juliana Church (7201 N Oketo Ave, Chicago, IL 60631).
