We bid farewell to Jesus Pena of Chicago, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 15, 2025 at the age of 91. Jesus touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, Jesus is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Jesus' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Josefa; his children, Maria Escorcia (David), Jesus Pena (Carmen), Eliazar Zahuantitla (Marcelino), Antonio Pena (Betty), Juan Pena (Elena), Erendira DeLaluz (Roberto), Martha Olmos (Luis), Carmelo Pena (Maria) and Ciro Pena (Carlota); and his siblings, Maria Pena and Epifania Reyes. He was also cherished by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beverly Ridge Funeral Home (10415 S Kedzie Ave, Chicago, IL 60655). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at 4555 S Kedzie Ave, Chicago, IL 60632.
