He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Basia; his son Filip; his mother-in-law Maria; and his brother Przemyslaw.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pietryka Funeral Home (5734 W Diversey Ave, Chicago, IL 60639). A Mass was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Hyacinth Basilica (3636 W Wolfram St, Chicago, IL 60618). A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Maryhill Cemetery (8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
