He is survived by: his parents, Patrick and Eileen of Antioch, IL; his siblings, Ryan Cerney (Katie) of Kenosha, WI and Siobhan Erkins (Louis) of Wooddale, IL; his nephews, Gavin and Louis Erkins IV; his niece Gemma Cerney; his fiancé Brie Murray of Chicago, IL; his aunts, Donna Brankin (Ric), Mary Beth Cerney, Mary Powell (Neville) and Kathleen O'Donohue; and his uncle John Cerney (Carol). He is also survived by many cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Strang Funeral Home of Antioch (1055 Main St, Antioch, IL 60002). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Lakes-St. Peter Church (557 Lake St, Antioch, IL 60002).
In lieu of flowers, donations to a family memorial, for Gavin and Gemma's medical care, are appreciated in Jamie's memory.
