He was predeceased by: his parents, Katharine Fitzsimmons and Francis Fitzsimmons; his sister Margaret Turner; his parents-in-law, Alice and Harold Bogseth; and his siblings-in-law, Susan Fitzsimmons, Kim Bogseth, Sheri Bogseth and Merlin Winchester.
He is survived by: his wife Marie; his children, Michael Fitzsimmons (Susan) of Mesa, Arizona, Katie Amelia Fitzsimmons (Drew Snowbarger) and Jenny; his son-in-law Andy Logan; his siblings, George Fitzsimmons, Dorothy Stroschein (Steve) of La Crosse, Edward Fitzsimmons (Leslie) of Sleepy Hollow, Illinois and Robert Fitzsimmons of Mesa, Arizona; his grandchildren, Edward, James, Margaret and Jonathan Fitzsimmons of Mesa, Arizona; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Roeder (Les) of Adams, Wisconsin, Roy Bogseth (Judy Alderman) of Friendship, Walter Bogseth (Paty) of Greenwood, Robert Bogseth (Laurie Bradford) and Paul Turner (Cindy) of Minnesota. He is also survived by cousins, nieces/nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
