He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Kirkpatrick (Jack) and Helen Kirkpatrick; his brother John Addison Kirkpatrick; and his sisters-in-law, Diane Elizabeth Kirkpatrick (Zapf) and Karen Lee Hoffman (Meyer).
He is survived by : his wife Sally Kirkpatrick of Chicago, Illinois; his children, Heather Subovitz (Jason) of Des Plaines, Scott Kirkpatrick (Adela) of Streamwood and Brian Kirkpatrick of Chicago, Illinois; his daughter-in-law Julie McGinnis; his grandchildren, Melissa Kirkpatrick-Roman (Hector Roman), Richard Kirkpatrick and Justin Subovitz; his great grandchild Oscar Roman; and his nieces, Laurie Lenke (Mark), Bonnie Zona-Lachenberg and Susan Ferry (Mark).
