James A. Bansley Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James A. Bansley (Chicago, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James A. Bansley to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Bansley; and his siblings, Eileen, Annie Laurie Gallagher (late Jack) and John (Marilyn). He is survived by: his children, Jim (Mary), Andy (Therese), Jean Maroney (Tom), Anne Bansley, Mary Maroney (Dave), Geri Doherty (Gerry), John (Kim), Bobby (Elena), Tony (Jane), Barbara Cronin (Brian), Helen Bollhagen (Josh) and Lucy Riles (Tom); and his brother Michael (Diane).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Church (9235 S Hamilton Ave, Chicago, IL 60620). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (2755 W 111th St, Chicago, IL 60655).
