Ivan Himmel Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Ivan Himmel (Chicago, Illinois). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille Himmel; his parents, Vera Himmel and Louis Himmel; his brother Harold Himmel; his sister-in-law Joyce Himmel; and his sister Jeanne Friedman.

He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Himmel (Cindy), Joan Himmel Freeman (Rickey), Scott Himmel (Deborah) and Allyson Bass (late Mark Bass). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Cognitive Alzheimer Disease Center (CNADC) at Northwestern Medicine, 420 E. Superior St., Chicago IL 60611.
