Ira A. Tangy Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Tangy and Janet Tangy (Kessler); and also Nadine Iole. He is survived by: his wife Iris Marreck; his son Michael Tangy; his brother Alan Tangy (Gail); his stepchildren, Sam Bar-Sheshet (Ellen Schaefer) and Sy Bar-Sheshet; his grandson Benny; and his nieces and nephews, Mitchell Tangy (Vanessa) and Robin Fischer (Blair).
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Emanuel Congregation (5959 N Sheridan Rd, Chicago, IL 60660). A reception was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A shiva was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025, and on Monday, March 10th 2025 at the Tangy-Marreck Residence (940 W Glenlake Ave, Chicago, IL 60660).
